Wedding Day

In keeping with The Royal Wedding of this generation taking place today, I thought some beautiful ruffles and tuille would be in order. I love the contrast of the delicately sculpted fabric with the seemingly decayed and distressed background in these editorials featuring the work of photographer Carl Bengtsson.

Neat Ideas

So I’m blogging from Italy today on a strange computer (you know how disorientating that can be, right?) but I wanted to share some neat ideas I came upon while Pinterest-ing…

This quick to make and oh-so-clever utensil holder for a colour co-ordinated lunch, and these simple dip-dyed effects to personalise your woven basket:

I’d love to receive a gift with such a special wrapping.  And when I saw this quick and easy chocolate mousse with only 2 ingredients, I knew it was a super neat idea!

And I am never without a notebook, preferably a moleskin, but where’d I put that pen!
If I can’t find the pen, I’ll just scribble on my fridge then:

Enjoy your day and ciao for now!
