If you go down to the Bay today, you’re in for a big surprise…
Because some very smart ladies have been busy cooking up a creative co-working space & clubhouse in the Bay area of San Francisco called the Makeshift Society. With creative brilliance, Victoria Smith, Rena Tom, and Suzanne Shade have generated a concept I adore. The idea of a place where like-minded creative professionals can hang out, interact, work, hold meetings and even attend business workshops & exhibitions. This communal and interactive workspace fills a definite need, which not only supports the creative community, but also keeps the inspiration flowing. I think the use of the mismatched chairs is genius, and those neon handles on the battered metal lockers had me at ‘hello’.
