House and Leisure March 2013

The latest House and Leisure packs a punch with its Small Spaces issue…compact South African homes that get it right! With an eye-catching cover of red, white and blue, this issue gives insight into new trends, clever & innovative ways of treating compact spaces, and of course, loads of great design sensibility.

I particularly love Tracy Lee Lynch’s fresh and unusual palette for her take on Storage on Display…remembering that the word fun is in functional!

A Johannesburg apartment which is both creative and sustainable..I’m especially fond of the scalloped ‘cat shelves’ which are mounted on the walls…

This perfect beach retreat on the Atlantic Ocean looks restful and memorable…

This cool, practical bachelor’s pad really caught my eye…unique and contemporary, with a sense of humour!

Gorgeous tropical views in the travel section brought back blissful memories of our stay at the same resort, Le Touessrok, several years ago…
