This dream wool rug designed by Charlotte Lancelot is from the GAN range by Gandia Blasco and is based on a traditional rose cross-stitch. The thick yarn woven through punched out felt manages to retain a home-made, artisanal effect while still being strikingly contemporary.

This is an amazing idea. I used to cross stitch in college to kill the time while listening to lectures but have never thought of it as a decorating motif. Love it!
