this past weekend, our family went off to the beautiful Kogelberg Nature Reserve, considered the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom, a stunning place to escape from a busy week. The reserve features 5 environmental-friendly cabins which complement the bio-diversity of this unique part of the Western Cape. Situated close to the seaside town of Kleinmond, a 90km trip from Cape Town, the Oudebosch cabins are integrated into the environment in the most sensitive and stylish way. They tread lightly on the landscape and cleverly reduce the impact of tourism on this lovely part of our country. You can definitely feel the sensitivity in which the cabins have been built and it’s a good feeling when you know you’re touching the earth gently.
