this hip Brooklyn brownstone in the Fort Greene neighbourhood of Brooklyn, NYC, is my kind of gorgeous. Modern with personality, bright yet refined, new mixed with vintage. Love it. I remember this neighbourhood from our recent trip to NYC. We went through to the Brooklyn Flea which is in the Fort Greene hood and I remember the bold pops of colour on every corner. The bright colours make an unusual contrast to the late-19th Century terraced brownstones that are such a familiar sight in the Brooklyn area. The home owners of this newly remodelled brownstone have a penchant for pop art, vibrant colours and fresh clean design which is translated stylishly throughout. I love the subtle, private front view of the house which belies the display cabinet feel of the double-volume glassed back view.
