I do not know how I missed this inspiring Swedish home when its beautiful images must have been floating around blogosphere a little over a year ago, but I’m so pleased to have found it now! After some random clicking of links from various interior blogs, I came across AprillAprill, a Swedish design blog written by Johanna, with inspiration from their house renovation, family life, flea market finds and interior design. Her illustrations, which started off as a therapeutic hobby, have found popularity and Johanna now has an online shop where you can buy her delightful illustrations, both as prints and on ceramics. In fact, her robot print was recently featured in the latest issue of 91 Magazine which I showed you the other day.
Anyway, I digress. It was their home renovation, well over a year ago, which really caught my eye. Oh. My. Goodness. I really fell in love with this interior…the bright, airy feeling … the bold contrast between the bright colourful prints and simple serene use of white … the practical yet stylish beauty of the décor. I could go on and on, but I’ll let the photographs do the talking:
What do you think? Are you as mad about this gorgeous interior as I am? I wonder what changes the family have made to their home in the year since these photos were published? I feel really inspired by so many aspects of this Swedish home with heart!
