love local – aLoveSupreme

Who loves good stationery? I do! A fresh discovery for me is aLoveSupreme – an exciting new adventure in creative stationery which was just launched at Design Indaba. My friend Lisa bought a few of their items and I just knew I had to let you in on it too. They’re just what we needed – a graphic design consultancy making intelligent, creative illustrations with a sneaky sense of humour. I love the bright pops of colour over the stylised line drawings. Brilliant.

totally mad about those flamingoes!

and who doesn’t love a good retro western cowboy theme?

find them over on Superbalist and visit their Facebook page for updates.

Design Indaba 2013 {part 4}

A digital design installment from the Design Indaba 2013 expo…

we all love Instagram and PhotoBlox gives you the opportunity to solidify your memories by printing your favourite snaps onto plywood…it gives a cool grainy look to the photos with the retro texture of the plywood. I bought one of their square blocks which is sitting happily on my desk and functioning as the coolest coaster I’ve ever had!

I’ve yet to meet a bespoke bag I didn’t like, and Soil Design do not disappoint. 100% made in Cape Town, these digitally printed beauties are so lovely that I found it difficult to pick my favourite. Check out their website (which is beyond lovely) because my photos have not done these bespoke bags any justice!
