Utterly simple and totally divine. The Resort 2015 collection from Bottega Veneta is unique and elegant without a ball gown in sight. For this mid-season collection, Tomas Maier, the creative director for Bottega Veneta, experimented with bleach and played with how a garment fades and lightens in an organic and random way. Using a process called corrosion, he removed colour in graphic patterns, creating highly individual abstract prints. With bold, grid patterns, over-sized florals and graphic linear designs, no two dresses will ever be 100 percent the same when the line goes into production. I like that.
